How to match your eyeshadow with your eye colour

Blue eyes:
If you have blue eyes, you should stick to earthy colours, such as browns, taupes, and greys. Do not wear blue eyeshadow.
Avoid: Blue, of course

Green eyes:
Purple goes great with green eyes, and even hazel eyes! If you want a more natural colour, go for a warm mocha brown or bronze.
Avoid: Greens and blues.

Brown eyes:
You are pretty lucky if you have brown eyes as I've noticed that you can pretty much wear any colour since brown is a neutral colour. If you want your eyes to stand out then go for green, metallics, gold and bronze.
Avoid: Silver, light blue shades and yellow.

Hazel eyes:
To make yours eyes pop go for golds, yellows, greens and basically anything that matches your flecks.
Avoid: Blue tones

L'Afrique, c'est chic.

Your right, Vogue, fashion has gone wild. My personal favourites from this issue:

Vogue December
Model: Katie Fogarty

Trend to watch: bandeau

I was flicking through Vogue's December issue with Isabel Lucas on the cover (isn't she just gorgeous) and I didn't get very far into it when I saw my biggest nightmare: bandeau's. I absolutely hate them because when I saw some girls from my school wearing them, it looked extremely tacky and cheap. Looking at pictures from Milan fashion week changed my mind completely. Bandeau's can look very chic and stylish if you know what to wear it with and aren't the little tarts at my school, excuse the language. If i had a good stomach i would wear one myself!

Alexa Chung

Alexa Chung's fashion sense is incredible, possibly the best there is. Her style has changed over the years but each outfit she wears is as glamorous and sophisticated as the next. I love how she has the confidence to wear whatever she pleases. She can just throw anything together and she would look great.

Introductory Post

Hey, my name is Maridia. I live in Melbourne, Australia. I am Greek. I have a passion for fashion and beauty. I pretty much only read the fashion and beauty sections in magazines. I have thought of many different careers and have wanted to be a beauty therapist for some years now. I enjoy experimenting with makeup and clothes. I only recently started thinking about starting a career in the fashion industry, possibly fashion design (although i am a terrible drawer!). I intend to blog mainly about the latest trends, following celebrity styles and just anything to do with fashion in general. Ive never really blogged before so this is my first time. I'm not sure what to do but lets see how it goes! Bye for now :)
